Hello friends,
I’ve recently restarted the blog and shifted it to Substack, where it is much more visible. It’s getting good traction there, which shows that more people want to find out about deepening nature connection in times of crisis and ecospiritual potential. As i wrote there recently, Everything is Exponential nowadays, from increasing climate chaos, to the explosion in AI (and the very real environmental cost of new data centres), to your own capacity to grow into the compassionate being you already are in your heart. There is a focus on the awakening power of light, the beauty and danger of technologically lit city living, and of course the dangers of allowing our attention to be directed by the capitalistic powers that are ruining everything. There are also stories about sun gods and goddesses, support for those looking for escape routes out of the modern cave of illusions (aka social media saturation), the occasional book review (like this one of Sarah Wilson’s I Eat the Stars), and of course the odd seasonal celebration like this one on the Global Solstice.
There will always be an added practice or invitation to return to your inner glow, that way we have of feeling at one with all that is, in kinship with our fellow creatures on earth, the more-than-human animals and plants and elements that are also part of us.
